Medical Facilities

Paramedics at LAX are on hand in the event of medical emergencies - contact any airline employee or LAX Airport Police at: +1 310 646 7911 (in the Central Terminal Area). LAX Airport also has an Automated External Defibrillator program to assist cardiac arrest victims - contact LAX Airport Police in case of emergency on: +1 310 646 7911. Several hospitals are located minutes from the airport.

Tom Bradley International Terminal has a first-aid station located on the upper level, open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. Call: +1 310 215 6000 for assistance.

An immunization service is available at the 24-hour Centinela Airport Medical Clinic at 9601 South Sepulveda Boulevard. Call: +1 310 215 6020 for information.

Disabled Facilities

Elevators
LAX offers elevators near public stairways and in all terminal buildings.

Rampways
All terminals at LAX provide rampways from street to sidewalk level.

Telephone Booths
LAX public phones can accommodate wheelchairs. Services for the hard of hearing include hearing-aid compatible phones in all terminals, TDDs (located near the Travelers Aid booths), and amplified telephones.

Restrooms
Terminal 2 (upper level) and Terminal 6 (lower level) provide unisex, disabled-equipped restrooms. Restrooms in all terminals have extra-wide toilet stalls with side grip bars.

Wheelchairs
Wheelchair assistance is provided by all major scheduled airlines and can be requested at ticket counters. Contact your airline for advance wheelchair reservations.

Central Terminal Shuttle
Disabled passengers requiring transport to other LAX terminals can use the free, lift-equipped "A" shuttle service around the Central Terminal Loop.

Special Assistance Vehicles
A Special Assistance Vehicle is available to transport passengers with disabilities or special needs between passenger terminals and remote gates and is also available to passengers on stretchers, organ transplant patients, and seniors with specially equipped wheelchairs.

Snack Bars
All fast-food outlets at LAX are wheelchair-accessible.

Further Assistance
Friends of family accompanying disabled passengers to aircraft gates require airline permission. Contact Travelers Aid (lower levels) in each terminal for further information and assistance.
